Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Giya ("Service"), provided by Giya Inc., you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the platform.

2. Definitions

• "Workspace": The multi-panel environment provided by Giya to organize notes, canvas node graphs, project contexts, and specifications.
• "App Specifications": Structured technical documents, IPO tables, JSON-LD ontologies, and prototype schemas exported from the workspace.
• "Insight Bank": The repository within your workspace used to store web links, preview metadata, text quotes, and visual references.
• "AI Thinking Tools": Automated reasoning and ideation utilities (including First Principles, Six Thinking Hats, HATERADE, and Force Semantics) made available through the platform.
• "User Content": All notes, ideas, graphs, text, and references created, uploaded, or generated by you in your workspace.

3. Description of Service

Giya is a multidisciplinary ideation workspace that allows solo founders, product managers, and R&D teams to collect reference insights, visualize node graph canvases, run AI thinking frameworks, compile W3C JSON-LD ontologies, and export production-ready software specifications.

4. Early Access & Subscriptions

Giya offers Free, Pro ($12/month), and Team ($29/month) plan tiers as detailed on our landing page. During Early Access:

• Signups may be restricted via early access passcodes or invite codes.
• Free tier allocations include 3 active projects, 50 Insight Bank items, and 15 AI thinking tool executions per month.
• Subscription prices and plan limits are subject to change with advance notice to account holders.

5. Intellectual Property & User Ownership

💡 100% Ownership: You retain complete, unencumbered ownership of all ideas, canvas graphs, specifications, ontologies, and code scaffolds generated within your Giya workspace. Giya claims no copyright or proprietary interest in your project outputs.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use Giya to:

• Scrape or ingest unlawful, malicious, or abusive content into the Insight Bank.
• Attempt to bypass database security rules or access another user's workspace data.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or exploit vulnerabilities in the platform infrastructure.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Giya Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of or inability to use the service, lost profits, or data corruption.

8. Modifications & Termination

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform following published changes constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
